Digital Delivery Policy
All Trailwise Atlas purchases are electronic route resources. We do not mail printed maps, devices, or outdoor equipment.
Delivery window
Once payment is confirmed, a download button is shown on the confirmation screen and access details are sent to the email used during checkout. Delivery is usually immediate. Payment verification, network interruption, or a manual security check can delay access for up to twenty-four hours.
Included formats
A route kit may contain GPX tracks, layered or print-ready PDF maps, a route briefing, and editable planning sheets. The exact contents are listed before purchase. ZIP archives must be extracted before individual files are imported into a navigation app. No physical map is included.
Responsible route use
Downloaded material is a planning aid and can become outdated after publication. Weather, fire, construction, access permissions, seasonal closures, and terrain can change without notice. Before departure, compare the kit with current official sources, carry appropriate navigation backups, and use judgment suitable for your experience.
Device and app compatibility
We provide standard file formats but cannot guarantee every GPS unit or third-party app. Check supported formats, storage capacity, map datum, and import instructions for your chosen device. Test the route offline before leaving coverage. A phone screenshot alone is not an adequate navigation backup.
Access and personal use
Links are supplied to the purchaser for reasonable personal downloads and backup. A household may print working copies for the same trip, but source files may not be posted, resold, added to a public route database, or included in a commercial guiding product unless a separate license permits it.
When a download fails
Confirm that the payment status is complete, check spam folders, and retry on a stable connection. If the archive is incomplete or the link does not arrive, email delivery@trailwiseatlas.com with the order reference. We will restore access or provide a replacement file after verification.
Corrections and updates
If a supplied file is corrupted or materially different from its description, we will correct or replace it. Minor cartographic revisions may be issued at our discretion. A purchase does not include perpetual live updates unless the listing specifically describes an update period.
Refund position
Because digital route data can be copied after access, a completed download is normally final except where applicable consumer law provides otherwise or we cannot deliver a conforming file. Safety conditions, weather changes, and personal route decisions do not constitute a technical delivery failure.
